TLC Healthcare’s vision ‘Life changing care’ begins at every age and we invite nurturing Early Learning Educator’s to join our Early Learning Centre team based in Mordialloc on a part time or casual basis.
Our centre is positioned within Australia’s first multi-generational healthcare precinct including a Residential Aged Care Home, Medical Centre, Health Club and commercial café.
TLC Early Learning Mordialloc provides 119 places for children aged six weeks to six years and delivering an innovative program where the children and aged care residents enrich each other’s lives.
In this way, we have pioneered Australia’s first multi-generational education program, inviting in our residents from the Aged Care Home into our Centre to participate in learning and engagement activities alongside our kids!
What you’ll be doing
- Mentoring and caring for children in the centre
- Write observations and participate in program planning
- Maintain safe supervision
- Attend to social, physical and emotional needs of children
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
About you
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice with children
- Passion for a multi-generational care model
- Ability to develop and maintain a harmonious team environment
- Knowledge of current trends in Early Childhood
- Understanding of the Child Safe Standards
- Excellently communication skills
